Hello Readers!
First, we would like to thank all of you that have subscribed! We have reached over 150 susbscribers already, which is far more than we expected in the first 5 months!
Second - Substack has recently released a new feature called Notes!
Notes is used to share links, short posts, quotes, photos, and more. Basically it resembles twitter but without the ads and a better algorithm. Having used this feature for the past week, it seems to be a great space where users can share interesting information and add commentary. Notes can be limited to seeing only notes (these are basically comments or tweets) from people you have subscribed to, or a general timeline where you have notes from other writers. One thing that currently feels better than twitter is that the number of notes you get to see is quite limited (maybe because the feature just started and there aren’t many users), which allows for more engaged interactions. We highly recommend using Notes (substack.com/notes or find the “Notes” tab in the Substack app), as we plan to use it for things that don’t fit in the newsletter. This could be market developments, content by other writers, or interesting research insights. As always, feel free to leave any comments you may have either below in this article or Notes!
Below is how this feature looks like and our first note:
How to join
Head to substack.com/notes or find the “Notes” tab in the Substack app. As a subscriber to Nominal News, you’ll automatically see my notes. Feel free to like, reply, or share them around!
You can also share notes of your own. I hope this becomes a space where every reader of Nominal News can share thoughts, ideas, and interesting quotes from the things we're reading on Substack and beyond.
If you encounter any issues, you can always refer to the Notes FAQ for assistance. Looking forward to seeing you there!
